Speech and language therapy

There are different types of communication disorders which can affect both children and adults. We provide assessment, and customized treatment plan for children and adults who have speech, language and hearing problems.

 Paediatric Speech and language therapy:

Learning language is an important milestone for children. Language development helps the child to have a strong base for reading and writing, to have a social life, express themselves or exchange their ideas.

 Language delay is when the child is having difficulty in understanding and using the language. Speech sound disorder is when the child is having difficulty in pronouncing certain sounds, which makes the whole speech difficult to understand. Some speech and language problems are associated with conditions like;

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • ADHD
  • Learning disabilities
  • Hearing impairment
  • Misarticulation (pronunciation problems)
  • Stuttering/Stammering
  • Voice problems in children
  • Cleft lip/palate
  • Cerebral palsy

Adult Speech and Language therapy

Communication problems in adults may occur due to various medical conditions. We provide treatment and support for people who experience these communication problems.

  • Voice disorders
  • Stuttering/Stammering
  •  Aphasia
  • Dysarthria
